If you heard the wind last night, you weren't imagining it. The National Weather Service's wind advisory covered Downtown Everett/Marysville and Shoreline/Lynnwood/South Everett from 6 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday, with gusts of 45 to 50 mph expected. KIRO 7 said the peak would come between 7 p.m. and midnight, with strong downpours.

  • Sunday: variable clouds, a few morning showers, still breezy
  • Seahawks game: cloudy and breezy, showers over less than 20% of the area
  • Rain: moderate to heavy with each front next week

We'd secure loose patio items before Monday night. KIRO 7 says the Gulf of Alaska is shaping up as a "breeding ground" for big storms, though the worst weather will likely stay north of us. FOX 13 Seattle expects a parade of storms with lowland rain, gusty winds and high-elevation mountain snow.

More fronts are due Monday night and again Thursday into Friday

  1. Nov. 8Breezy with variable clouds and a high in the mid-50s.
  2. Nov. 9-10A system arrives Monday night into Tuesday, adding wind and moderate to heavy rain.
  3. Nov. 11-12Highs rise into the 60s on Wednesday and Thursday.
  4. Nov. 12-13Another system arrives Thursday into Friday.
